grease all the bearings including headset, bb, and wheels, and replace that chain to a shadow half link or whatever half link you prefer, that rusty one link screams i want my knee going straight onto my stem

im also on team replace the bearings. Will also require a complete disassembly and thus inspection. while bb & head tube are easy to find.. wheel bearings are better popped out and bearing supply house, or grab a cheap vernier caliper from harbor freight and but them online by size. pedal just replace. but if the cups/cone are OK, can use said calipers on the bearing to order new and repack.
