It’s a great all road bike wrongly marketed as a gravel bike. If you want an actual gravel bike look elsewhere

  2. It’s concave so it have more clearance than it looks like. Still not much more than to run a 42mm safely in mud so definitely not for all types of gravel racing

I own one of these. I think most people would argue it’s just marketed incorrectly. It’s essentially an all road/old gravel bike. It’s not the bike I would take through chunk. It’s the bike I take on chill fire roads and pipeline trails. No issues running 45s on it. If you want a bike with a bigger spread, I’d probably opt for a MOG given how well they handle a road steup. Or a non 5 Aspero.

It’s amazing. I can’t stop recommending it to folks.

I’m confused. Isn’t it listed as having 45mm clearance? Same as the Aspero

  5. the spirit of gravel is cracking your frame by riding a road bike on mountain bike trails.

  6. put a piece of aliminum ducting tape along the downtube and pray.

alt / ride it for a week and give it to your butler. /s

  7. Binachi Impulso is a great bike to combo with two sets of wheels. Don’t let the 42 mm clearance limit fool you. I run 48mm in the front and 45 mm in the back with space to go. Also very good on tarmac

This might be a ‘gravel’ bike in the sense that it can clear 45’s and knobbies, but the moment this is ridden in mud? Consider the effect of even small pebbles getting caught between the tire and carbon seat tube…

That’s as much of a gravel bike as a Porsche Maccan is an off road vehicle. Looks good with a cloud of dust behind it, but definitely not made for that purpose.
