So, after some tweaking and getting bags how I wanted them, and lacing the frame bag, here’s my ride for my first overnight trip tomorrow.

Feels heavy, but honestly I can’t think of something in my kit that I could go without considering the weird weather in the UK at the minute..

Perhaps the chair could go, but it’s pretty light and got to have some luxury I guess. lol

Looks pretty sweet, I really like the colour matching other than the chair bag haha. How’s that handlebars bag stability-wise? It looks like it could bounce around quite a bit.

  2. Ah man, that’s such a cool set up. I’m aiming for similar but the Camino. What’s your sleep set up?

  3. How do you have the chair strapped to the fork? Is there a cage behind it or is it just straps?

  4. Looks legit, where in the uk are you based and what sort of distances are you planning on doing?

  5. If there is a lot of rain, what trousers are you wearing? BTW. Alpkit has great customer service.

Re chair: im a believer and your back will thank you especially if wild camping. Note: muddy conditions can mean chair feet sink into the ground. Rocks sometimes available and work but some recycled plastic lids or something similar will be thrown in my chair set-up. Sounds dorky but unless in v dry place they can be needed.
