Hello BW,

I recently purchased my first gravel bike.
Its a Scott Speedster Gravel 30 -25 MY
With grx 400 2×10 groupset
Formula cl 28 hubs
Its been ridden less than 400km

In the video you can see me trying to demonstrate the problem. The rear wheel isnt spinning freely.

I have tried removing the brake caliper to rule out pads rubbing against the disc
I tried removing the wheel completley, here i saw some impovements but not nearly as good as i think it should ”freeroll”

I also tried losening the axlebolt, it got a little bit better but still far off.

Anyone know where i should look next?

  1. In the video- it looks like the wheel isnt straight.
Its me holding the camera, while trying to spin the wheel + the whole bike wobbling when spinning.

Based on the consistent spin-down, my instinct says Drake is bragging…. sorry, your brake is dragging.

Take the wheel out and see how it spins in your hand when you grab it at the endcaps.

Then see how it spins when you grab it at the cassette / freehub and the non-drive side endcap.
