Short version: Anyone know where to get thin cable (about 1.2mm) for 3-speeds? Long version: Things are coming along with the restoration of this 1975 Raleigh Sport for my wife’s birthday, but I’m hit a snag with the cable for the actuation of the Sturmey-Archer 3-speed. The previous owner was going to junk the bike EXCEPT for the shifter, so they cut the cable, meaning that I have to replace it. The cable for the 3-speed measures about 1.2mm in diameter, while conventional brake cable is 1.5 to 1.7mm in diameter. Anybody know where to get thin cable?
