Canyon just launched the new Endurace serie, i noticed that the new Endurace CF SLX 8 Di2 is 900 euro cheaper than the one in 2024/2025. They specs look similar, only the wheels are different. ERC1400 before, now ERC1600.
Why is there such a big price dump?

people don’t piss dumb money anymore
At least I’m France, the previous model cost 5000€ (and was recently on sale for 4400€). So I think the wheels would be a major factor in the difference
Also the 7 is cheaper but the 2024 had a power meter
I payed 4800€ for mine last July with SRAM
New management? Arnold back at the helm? Pushback on the PE for profit maximization? Sales downturn because of price-performance drop? Competing direct sales from China? Etc etc.
Wdym “only” the wheels? Erc1400 have are almost 2k euro higher MSRP
