Kansas Amber Waves of Grain

A group of 6 of us had an excellent weekend riding through central Kansas. We rode the bikepacking.com route and it was incredible. The wheat was more green than amber due to it being spring but we saw all kinds of birds, snakes, turtles, and skrats. We rode the route clockwise and one piece of advice for anyone interested avoid this route if there is moderate rain. The route has a good amount of MMR that would be difficult if it was mud.
