  1. These are correct. If you want to change, just remove grips and shifters, then brake levers. Reinstall brakes on the other side and reassemble. You need new grips anyway.

This is a cable thing. You can disconnect the cables and swap the routing.

This bike is configured in the common way.

You want “moto-style” because motorcycles use the left hand for the clutch and right hand for the front brake. It’s an uncommon preference but not unheard of.

  3. You have to swap the cables. The exact same process you would follow for replacing cables and housing, you just put them on whatever lever you like. Depending on the bike, the existing cables might be too short, and since it’s a second hand bike, might be a good idea to replace them altogether. Plenty of videos online!

  4. They’re cable brakes, so you should be able to swap the cables to the opposite sides pretty easily. Just find a video on changing brake cables, which will include how to install the cables to the levers.

I think this looks like the right info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xg5MrDgLhHI

Just FYI, some countries (like the UK) usually set up with left-rear, others (like the USA) usually set up with right-rear.

    Swap over the brake levers.

That whole steering setup needs to be redone anyway; I mean, what’s with the shifter?

from the middle of the steering tube to the outside, it needs to be

    brake lever>Grip shifter>grip>mirror

You also need asymmetrical grips: a long one on the left (no shifter) and a half one on the right.

Those brake levers are waaaaay to far inboard.

Also, mirror should be on the left (unless you are in a left-hand-drive country like UK)
