It is currently dumping in the mountains, all the way down to 1000m in some places. Over half a meter expected at high elevations. ALL of the passes are currently snow covered, even if they are „open“

Oh geez I go on a trip through the alps in 3 weeks
Don’t end up in a costly rescue mission like the school trip in July 2024. Snow and winter conditions may happen even in July August. If you are not really prepared for a winter mountain ride, just take a train.
