    Have you tried fitting the new one? Honestly I doubt it’s just the plastic thats worn though, its likely the carbon has worn if the bearing has seized.

    Contact the manufacturer or shop you bought the bike from. This isn’t uncommon with pressfit bottom brackets in carbon frames. Although it’s becoming less common. I’ve warrantied frames with this issue and received replacements free of charge.

    This is assuming that’s the correct bottom bracket for the frame.

  3. Hammer it out as usual? On a CF frame? Please do your next bike a favor and get a cheap bearing puller.
