  1. was it stolen? or did you just rob a wice who sold it for the price her husband told her he paid?

    beause thats a 800$ frameset

  2. Must’ve got the discount due to the risk involved running a chainring that’s either enchanted(cursed) or enchanted(buffed)

$100 is incredible for that bike. Did you know someone, thrift or buy it off FB marketplace, etc. if you don’t mind me asking?

I’ve still got a radical notion to try and do a 3 speed IGH with disc on one of these with a flat-bar and just soak up some weird miles.

I picked up a 2008 soma smoothie es for $200 earlier this year! Such an amazing ride.

  6. The ergonomics look interesting, but if it works for you that’s all that matters. Sweet bike, nonetheless!

I’m experiencing a whirlwind of emotions thinking back on all the trash ass $100 bikes I’ve bought this year. Damn what a deal!

  8. I toured the Olympic Peninsula on a wolverine. It’s a great bike. Nice score!

Once in a while great deals are still out there. I picked up a Disc Trucker with some upgrades for $400 last summer (although it’s a 10yearvold bike but I love it). Before Covid I picked up a Merlin Extralight with full Campy carbon Record for $700. Guy was in a decent house in a decent neighborhood that could have been any one of a million suburbs in this country and just didn’t want it anymore. I need to turn that thing around and sell it. I’m way too big to be riding that bike, I’m sure I don’t meet the weight limits for carbon components lol

  10. That’s the deal of the century! I also have a Wolverine, it’s a great bike.
