Join me on this bikepacking adventure following the Marchers Castle Way which I recently completed in 4.5 days. A challenging circular route with 5000m of acent officially starts at Shrewsbury then passes through Much Wentlock, Ludlow, Prestiegn, Knighton, Newtown, Montgomery and Church Stretton. The route passes through the Shropshire, Powys and Herefordshire hills and gives the opportunity to enjoy many old Castle ruins such as at Ludlow, Presteign, Montgomery, Much Wentlock and Shrewsbury and includes the ancient Roman city of Wroxeter and the world heritage site of Ironbridge the burth place of the industrial revolution. On this trip I am completely self sufficient on my trusty Norco hardtail and wildcamp throughout. Enjoy!
