honestly, i work in a bike shop and i’ve seen like 4 sirrus crack either there or midway on the downtube.

What so you only got a discount on the second bike? So you paid 150% of one bike to get two broken bikes?
Think about how much you weigh – how could a bag cause that kind of damage?
I’ve got an X 5.0 which is all carbon but there was a bit of damage to the frame by the brake line entry point when I first got it it so I had them replace it.
How long into ownership did these happen?

Ugh! I bought the exact same bike last December. I ride it every day, and I love it! I hope it doesn’t crack like this. It’s true that the frame material is very thin. It’s a very light aluminum frame.
