Haskell Canyon Bike Park (in Santa Clarita [Los Angeles], CA) is currently starting a soft opening to the public due to logistical issues with the access road. While it is effectively open as of now, if you intend to visit please exercise the utmost respect to any workers in the area and be mindful of others on the access road. We don’t want any accidents on the dirt road leading to it that will prompt the city to fence the park off.

I believe they are more or less debating paving it or leaving it as is and figuring out long term maintenance, which is a valid concern given the current state of the road and the potential popularity of a bike park of this nature in the greater Los Angeles region (or just SoCal).
