    Second one looks really bad to me. Looks like a cheap mtb that they changed to drop bars

  3. The 2nd one is a turd, it’s Walmart quality. The first bike has potential, but it was stored outdoors, exposed to the elements. It will need a bunch of work. Quite likely cable and housing is rusted and siezed, which would mean bar tape as well. Tires are possibly 20+ years old. You may be able to put a cyclocross tire, but not a modern, fat, gravel tire. Bearings possibly smoked if water got it. The sun can cause a lot of damage as well. I’d keep looking. Neither of these are a good buy.
