Been upgrading my Ultimate through the last few weeks with different parts, mostly from China. Got the weight down to 7.21 kg with pedals etc.
Parts I’ve changed are:
– XMCS Wheelset, 58 mm deep, 26 mm internal, 34 mm external, carbon spokes, 1.160 g,
– 30 mm Continental GP5000 S TR, set up tubeless,
– Elilee X310 crank set, 165 mm cranks, Shimano chain rings (50/32),
– Power2Max Spider Power Meter,
– 0-offset SP0064 seat post from Canyon (70 g),
– 11-30 Dura Ace Cassette,
– Wolf Tooth Del pedals (210 g),
– Selle Italia SLR Carbon saddle,
– Elite Bottle Cages (16 g each),
– Bar tape from Supacaz,
– Radar and Wahoo mount 3D printed,
– some Ti bolts here and there.
Rides like a rocket. 🚀 🙂
With shallower wheels and narrower tires, sub 7 kg should be possible, even though the frame is kinda heavy.
