Long story short, I started restoring my BMX bike. Started small and realized I need a new back wheel. Ordered a cassette from Dans and found out it has a 9 tooth drive. Apparently that’s the new normal. Purchased a 25 tooth sprocket and now I’m in trouble. These cranks not coming off because I can’t get the 14 in there. Also can’t get the Allen loose from behind. Simple solutions? Help and advice welcomed.

Besides wanting that RNC sprocket haha
Hmm honestly I think taking something squared or rounded off with a hammer and try and get that bit of lip moved justtt enough for a socket to fit
Dremel, or put a piece of metal in there to bend it out.
You could also just take the other side off and slide it out.
Back the bolt out halfway and hit it with a hammer. Profiles need the spindle driven out of the arm to pull apart.
Pb blaster and a Hell ov a crescent wrench
Take it off from the other side if need be, and they make a specific crank crank puller tool that looks like a big bolt with a sleeve, had to use the same tool to get mine apart cause they were seized
You have 2pc cranks now, no big deal. As for the boss bolt, put a drop or two of chain lube around it, might work quick, might work overnight. If that doesn’t work, possibly heat. Might be old loctite acting up.
Chains upside down btw
That RNC!!
Is that a ti sprocket ?
As others said take the other arm off and knock it out like a 2 piece. Or dremel the metal out of the way.
Besides that there are a lot of mid school guys that want that 36t rnc
Just end that lip out of the way. Channel locks or maybe a crescent wrench like you’re fixing a bent wheel.
