It started as 2019 Lapierre spicy 27.5 that I custom painted. It’s setup as a slopeduro with a bottle cage shifter mount. I’ve got a really old xtr derailer and shifter (2014). I used to run single speed but I still have to climb sometime I’m so close to finishing it I just need a brake.
Let me know what you guys think and if you have any suggestions!

that build sounds rowdy with the bottle cage shifter mount. for the brake on a slopeduro setup you want something with good modulation but serious stopping power. look at [Shimano Zee](https://featherab.com/shopit?search_keywords=Shimano+Zee) or [SRAM Code R](https://featherab.com/shopit?search_keywords=SRAM+Code+R) – both are downhill oriented but won’t break the bank. since you’re almost finished, grab a [brake bleed kit](https://featherab.com/shopit?search_keywords=bicycle+brake+bleed+kit) too if you’re doing the install yourself. the old xtr drivetrain with single speed option sounds fun for climbing days
