I’ve heard that’s a tough hike, must be really gnarly on a bike. Can you share your route info?
Hell yeah
I’ve got to get out there someday, but it might be too late in the year at this point as it gets toasty out there.
Maybe the trail has deteriorated? Did this a few times late 90‘s / early aughts and it was not so technical (at least as I recall) and we were on shitty old zaskars and the like… 70 HTA and short wheelbase and all.
Do you still park at the nudist place to do it?

Took my brothers out there last year and my brother had to be life flighted out after falling 150ft off the trail. There’s one really gnarly part that’s on the section of trail that bypass’s the closed tunnel. You know the section I’m talking about if you’ve been there. I’d highly recommended taking a gps there’s no service and it saved my brothers life.
I’m sure that’s pretty safe up there. But dang this gives me anxiety lol.

Whoa! I’ve wanted to go there and didn’t know you could bike. Thanks for providing a link to it. With elevation and distance, seems like a much simpler ride than I assumed it would be. Any tips or advice on expected parts of the journey? Would love to go out there and not die.
