Maicie, my daughter and I have been planning and saving for this trip for while. As a lover of history, I’ve always wanted to see the beaches of Normandy where D-Day and the allies changed the tide of WWII. Why not combine a love of history with a love of biking. Maicie and I both love biking. This trip was 6 days of serious daily biking (no less than 5-6 hours per day in the saddle) seeing both Normandy and Brittany regions (northern coast) of France. We threw a couple days of Paris on the end because one just should. The trip was incredible. The scenery jaw dropping. And the food delicious and caloric. Cheese and bread anyone? Trip was sponsored by Backroads— an adventure vacation company who did an incredible job. Come to France with me— if only for 10 minutes.
