     Nr.1, then use side loader bottle cages and lowering solutions to fit the maximum bottles you can.

    Get the smallest one you think will be sufficient for your needs.

    3, good volume and you can still get your hand around the top tube for lifting the bike.

    i would say 5 -full frame bag, and use feed bags or mount water elsewhere. just prefer fewer, but larger bags-easier to pack, more efficient weight wise and the frame is a great place for that- even when not touring

  6. I don’t think #1 will interfere with the bottles much. Fairlight have those mounts tucked low on the seat tube and down tube, which is great.

    I went option 1 and just put a side loaded bottle cage on, very happy with the decision, can fit a padded jacket in my frame bag for pub stops.
