  1. Backcountry.com sucks if you don’t know. Corporate bullies who think they own the word backcountry. Don’t support that shit

That sucks. I’ve had amazing experience with Rapha customer service one multiple occasions. Backcountry is the problem here.

    Don’t expect much from Backcountry.com.

I used their online chat to make sure I ordered the correct chain-ring for my mountain bike. Took the “experts” advice and ordered it. After I used it I found it it was the incorrect offset, and they wouldn’t take it back because it was used. They chose to lose me as a customer over a $60 part they incorrectly suggested for me. Fuck them.

  4. What did backcountry say when you contacted them about the crash replacement?

I don’t consider backcountry.com a legitimate seller after I returned new tires that they didn’t credit me for. Happened a few years ago and I’m still salty about it

    1. Buy the same thing from Rapha

    2. Send in the crashed one for repairs

    3. Now you have 2.

  7. Back Country has always been the TJ Maxx/TK Maxx of outdoors stores.

You probably shouldn’t be surprised that that Rapha jersey you bought for less than wholesale from BC isn’t covered by the retail crash replacement policy.

That’s wild – Rapha only lists Mike’s Bikes and Landry’s as authorized dealers in the US, but they’re sold by REI, Backcountry and a bunch of local places? That seems like a really weird way to get out of honoring warranties. Hit up Backcountry directly, though – for certain brands you can do a warranty claim through them.

If Backcountriy is not an authorized dealer fine but curious me wonders where do they get the stuff they are selling?
