The Town Deal – Is it for the benefit of the residents of Colchester? Not really – it’s about the economy. Multi million pounds projects including 5G ‘Pilot City’ , money moving between some budgets to cover shortfalls, some cancelled, cycle paths being created in stages including a very expensive one up a hill, chaos expected on already busy roads.

I'd like to know who those 900 bikes were given away to, and where did they live?. Where is the evidence that they cycled around the Earth 3 times?
These parasites make my blood boil, Literally, and still no reply to the emails sent to my local council, thanks to Rachael and Madelaine! I'll have to leave it short else my comment will be removed by the thought police
What a load of cods……
Sacrifice of another part of historic Colchester to please cyclists who are a small minority. They attempt to modernize an historic city and in so doing, they continue to destroy its very nature of being the oldest recorded town in the country. I thought the objective of the town plan was to provide growth and prosper the town, cycles that get stolen in town and can't carry a lot of shopping is not going to prosper the town. Changing East Hill is another total waste of money and will do nothing to improve the look of the hill or prosper its growth, in fact, it will be detrimental. Has we know 5g is a serious risk to health, which is why Russia has not deployed 5G in schools; in fact, the Russian government has implemented restrictions to limit wireless technology in educational environments. Since the 2020-2021 school year, the Russian Ministry of Health and the Academy of Sciences have recommended banning Wi-Fi, smartphones, and cellular base stations on school grounds to protect children from electromagnetic fields. Russia has not rolled out commercial 5G networks domestically due to sanctions, lack of equipment, and the fact that key frequency bands are reserved for military use. NOTE 5G MILITARY USE. In 2016, the Mayor of Haifa, Israel, ordered the removal of Wi-Fi from all schools in the city, replacing them with wired networks due to health concerns regarding electromagnetic radiation. I was listening to Fine Print on YT yesterday and he has done a video on the millions being wasted by councils on technology that doesn't work and the names of the three companies that were given the contracts.
Leveling up that's all you need to know. They're pushing ahead for cash funding regardless of what people want
Manchester council say 90% cars stopped entering city centre by 2040
You can see how corrupt king is openly pushing for cycle lanes which nobody wants , we as motorists pay for a disgusting road system constantly being restricted by cycles , maybe we now need to charge cyclists to be insured taxed and forced to be mot'd if it is continually forced to take the roads we as motorists pay for , lets investigate kings finances to see if everything is as it should be
I'd be interested how many of these Councillors Cycle to Work 😊
When someone speaks with confidence, they do not err, um and stutter.
All i hear from the council is err, um and we believe.
What amload of tosh.
Who approves all these projects.
Its not the public thats for sure.
Its all in house.
I wonder if there are any incentivies for them ?
Thank you for all the work you all do ❤
Well done against for all your hard work
900 hundred bikes going cheap on eBay
Or heading to Africa 👀
Its amazing that these people decide what the people want.
It appears that central government blackmail councils into doing their bidding or no finances will be made available.
So basically, we the public don't want what they say they want. Public is ignored, they carry on regardless. Seriously they don't care about what we think.
Since when did it become the remit for the council to decide what the residents/visitors of Colchester should be doing, or what is healthy or not for their employers, those same residents?
our town suddenly had 50million to spend on a cinema project,( topped up from a library funding for repairs now closed library) and 18.5million to spend on a playground, and on going 5g infrastructure ,the town however still looks the same as it did in the 70s
Thank you for a great video, follow the funding. It's global to local partnerships , Pride in place is connected to LGR. A fancy name for unelected Town Boards, selected communities making decisions on residents' behalf
