Remove reflectors off the bike and wheels if you really want to look like a serious mountain bike guy. They fall off anyway and just create trash on the trails
That being said, as long as you like riding the bike and wear a helmet, who cares. Nothing wrong with getting into the activity without spending a fuck ton
