I am a beginner to cycling. Wanted to start with something cheap and second hand.
I am hoping to do a duathalon later this year so need something to train and race with. Not taking it too seriously, just need something that won’t break on me.

2006( I think) Specialized Allez Comp road bike. Shimano 9 speed Ultegra gears and Mavic Cosmos wheelset. Aluminium frame and carbon forks. New cassette, chain and cranks. Good working order. Top end bike in its time. Size small (5'3" to 5'6").
Anything I should look out for or be aware of?
