We're looking for a compromise between the two. Examples in the pics are a Voodoo Braag and a Bobbin Brownie 7. We want to be able to hop on and off and ride in comfort as if going to a picnic in a dress, but also to be able to go across a farmer's field and through some mud and little offroad hills. Things I think we want (not firm):

  • the dropped middle frame
  • upright body position
  • a little bit of suspension at least
  • disk brakes
  • offroad rims and tyres
  • rear carrier for a child seat or bag
  • Entry level / intermediate
  • £350-1000 (if upper end, we'd look second hand, but it's the model that's important)

Any bright ideas?
