Hello Guys,
After an unlucky Bikeshop experience, where the mechanic damaged my Frame i got a new frame replacement. Since then i see that my rear wheel isn’t perfectly centered. The tire clearance on the drive side is only 3,5mm and on the non drive side almost the double at around 6,5mm. Initially i thought its the wheels that are off but just mounted another rear wheel from my Road bike and it was also off in the same direction. I talked with canyon and they want me to go to a bike shop to check it, but their partner bikeshops are fully booked this month.

What is your opinion on this problem? Do you think it is a frame issue in general or is it something that could be adjusted?

FYI i have 40mm tires installed that measure at 40.5mm with the nobs.

Thank you in advance!

  1. Gorgeous color. Have you checked your hex bolt to see if it’s tightened to spec and that the wheel is seated correctly?

Is it possible that you’re missing a spacer on the drive side? Or swapped some spacers?

It’s a carbon frame, right? So I cannot imagine that there is an issue with the frame, since they are all built in a designated mould, which prevents such offsets. Therefore I think there must be a spacer or something on the drive side missing, but I’m ni expert to this.

  4. maybe the rear wheel need to be re-dish-ed again? i had to do similar work on my old MTB. somehow the hub went off the center of the frame.

It’s not supposed to be centrered. You wont have enough room for your cassette. Ultimaye and aeroad are the same.
