90s something Nagasawa Special. It’s unique in ways that aren’t immediately visible. The headtube cracked and the down tube crinkled from a front end. So… instead of getting a new frame, I got myself on a waitlist and had the front triangle replaced. The top tube and down tube are now made from OX Platinum. The whole thing was stripped and wet painted in House of Kolor hot pink with a silver flake clear coat. I found some perfect decals to rebrand it post new paint. Somehow, we were able to salvage the original lugs.
Probably the only Nagasawa in the world with OX Platinum (normally it’s all Tange) or with this particular color (their pink is much closer to the grips).
I didn’t want to *change* the characteristics or aesthetic of the frame so much as I just wanted to perfect it to my tastes.
So… you know, not as unconventional or weird as most 1 of 1s I think you’ll see here, but technically still meets the 1 of 1 criteria lol.
Edit: I don’t take many photos so this is one I had from a while back lol. Apparently I hadn’t finished sanding the excess paint off the fork ends. That’s looking kind of rough in that shot >.>
