UPDATE: looking at it more closely, the air is leaking from where the 2 pieces of the aluminum wheel are joined: https://imgur.com/a/68PfRRh (see the line in this picture)
Hi all, I just installed tubeless using the following setup:
-Almost new DT Swiss Endurance LN, internal rim width 22mm (cleaned with microfiber cloth and aceton)
-New Continental GP5000 AS TR 35mm
-Schwalbe rimtape 25 mm
-Muc-Off tubeless valves
-Topeak Joeblow floorpump with the Schwalbe tyre booster air compressor
-Schwalbe Easyfit (lubricant, like soapy water)
Installing the rear wheel went fine, but the front wheel keeps having this air leak located opposite of the valve (please see the bubbles in the attached picture). At first I thought it must be the rim tape failing, but I already tried to redo this twice with double layers and the air leak remains. I also tried inflating it multiple times, both with and without the air compressor. The tyre bead seems to seat properly; I hear 2-3 ‘pops’ and it’s aligned properly.
Now my question is, before I add any sealant (Silca ultimate 2.0), will this air leak seal? Or is there anything I can do to fix this?
Many thanks in advance!

Since you already replaced the tape, then it is over of the cases where only sealant can do the job.
