I wanted to check out the footpath on the canal nearest to my home. So, I went on foot to check out the conditions and the accessibility.
The main aim is to see where I can commute to across the city and how good the paths are, and how far you can travel along the footpath

A lot of people complain that cyclists aren't using the cycle paths when they are put in place. But when your destination does not have a cycle path, you can't use it
Looks like a nice canal to ride along. Go for it and enjoy the exploration. Just take your time and enjoy the ride. I love riding along the canals. Hope you get your trike bike they are good fun and no balance issues compared to a two wheeler bike. Andy
