I got an NOS benotto modello 3000 im building up with shimano biopace. I got everything installed but the braze on derailleur seems incompatible. Is there a solution? I can buy a campy front derailleur that will probably fit but the wife isnt happy with my "200 dollar frame" fast approaching 600 dollars.
Anyone have a solution?

Is there just not enough adjustment height to the braze on, or is there something physically blocking the derailleur cage from being moved higher?
You could use a [adapter](https://www.merlincycles.com/en-au/id-braze-on-adaptor-303500.html) to switch to a clamp-on, or get a smaller large chain-ring.
You could just bend it backwards a bit, make the curve of the derailleur match the curve of the chainring.
Smaller chainring?
Do some of the teeth touch the derailleur? The picture shows a gap, it’s very narrow but it is a gap.
On a side note, your chainrings seem misaligned.
Its most likely due to the biopace chainrings
To my eye, the derailleur mount looks bent. A derailleur cage should not have that much of a gap at the front, and no gap at the rear.
Ditch biopace and your problems will end
