I’m a getting into biking and wanted to get a pulse check of this deal. My budget is up to $2k as I am willing to spend more if it lessens the need for me to upgrade in a few years. The other option I am considering is a new Canyon Endurace Allroad for ~$1500. If folks are able to tell what the Brakes, Tires and Pedals are based on these pictures and their thoughts on the deal overall, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It is not a 2018 bike. By 2018 Cannondale was using flat mount brakes, this is using post mount. It is a 2016 Synapse Disc Tiagra [printed page 49 of the 2016 Cannondale Catalog](https://www.cannondale.com/-/media/files/manual-uploads/manuals/2016_c_catalog_full_lr.pdf). I guess they swapped out some drivetrain components. I would pass on most pre-2018 disc brake bikes unless the price was low. I would rather have rim brakes or a modern flat mount setup. For $500 more get the new Canyon.
