

Longest climb ever – ~27 miles, 7k feet. It wasn’t awful averaging 4-6%. The descent was divine – I hit 45mph a couple times, never fell below 25mph except for a two quick climbs, cars were polite and didn’t tailgate. Set my personal best 10 mile split at 16:53 (all downhill!!! 🤣).

so high up on my bucket list. love the catalinas, and once you’ve surpassed the upper saguaro line the air gets so chill… fat kudos on your run.
and yeah, fellow tucsonians know how to deal with bikes. there’s a lot of us.

Congrats! I only made it to Windy Point Vista due to lack of training in the off season.
Def need more sustained climb practice hah
Tried that a couple of years ago. Thought I had the legs but I was wrong. Decent was fun for the most part
