I was pretty unhappy with the noise of the Eagle setup despite loving having the 52t gear with a 48t ring. Tried multiple transmission chains before giving up and moving to the XPLR cassette, derailleur, and Red rainbow chain.

Noise issues solved! It’s a little clicky but not raspy or rattly like the Eagle setup. I ran both waxed. Feels perfect for the Aspero 5 as a (mostly) road bike for me.

Sounds like you found your solution by moving to 10-46t XPLR and 13sp Force. I am curious, why didn’t you move to T-type transmission with XO AXS Transmission RD and 10-52t to keep the 52? I suppose if you missed the 52t, Garbaruk also makes one compatible with XPLR

SRAM sells these little black rubber bands that you put in between the cogs. The red road cassettes have these installed between every cog. The force road cassettes have them installed in a few of the smallest cogs.

I bought a pack on sale for like 5 bucks that was designed for road and put them in between some of the cogs of my eagle cassettes. It helped a bit.

Glad you are happy with the final product. PM me if you are interested in selling the old transmission stuff.
