Hi everyone, complete newbie here
I’ve got a bike rack that clamps to the seat post and frame, however my derailleur(?) cable is in the way. Can i clamp over the cable? Or is there any other way I can still use this rear rack.
Thanks!

clamp it down at the bottom as close as possible to the rear dropouts. Then the cable loop going around and down to the RD can just go around it. That’s how I have my Topeak rack set up on my road bike, using insulated P-clamps for the seat stay attachment.
Remove the p clips and you can bolt into the threaded mounting points on your dropouts.
