Public holiday weekend + sun out meant it was time to stretch the legs!

Did a longer route through Kokořínsko, CZ with the goal of getting out and about among the sandstone rock formations- mainly for the good shade!

Easy to find a superb route in this area- great scenery, great trails and lots of places to refuel- even the road sections are also actually very nice too, and I usually hate any road part of a trip.

Not a speedy trip this time though- the triple threat of 1) dad bod, 2) singlespeed and 3) the crowds on the trails kept me at an honest pace 😉

I’ve been debating on turning one of my single speeds into a gravel bike, how does it handle the loose stuff? What is your set up and what was your average speed?

  2. Looks beautiful! I’d definitely have done a couple of laps of the car park to get it up to 100km though 😜

  3. Great effort and beautifull sights, but there is no way in hell that I’ve would miss that 230m to close that century result 😅
