That truck was mainly at fault.
It was that box truck park to the right of the road way. The driver in car was Partially blind sided by it. But the driver is also selfish and stupid at the same time to not slowly creep out and look beyond that box truck park to his right.

The motorcycle was going way, way too fast for a residential street. He should be ticketed for the accident.

It's a tight space near the crossing being used as a parking space where some cars get blinded by incoming traffic.
It is a common sense to slow down at the crossing. In India we keep speed breakers near such intersections/junctions.Mad bikers are every where

The position of the parked Truck did not help….in any way, either for the car which drove out or for the bike, particularly for the car. It crossed in front of the motorcycle.

Bike riders, at least most of them don't understand how fast they are going, their speed is way sudden for cars, just like cars are sudden for trucks.

Thats what you get for traveling too fast. That biker was doing twice the speed limit or more. Had he been doing the correct speed limit the chances are that car driver would have noticed him sooner and the biker would have more time to react. Im a biker and i can see the speed he was going in that area was a recipe for disaster. That car driver had way less time to see what was coming due to the speed of that motorcycle.

The box van parked too near the intersection was responsible for that as much as anything else. The car driver had no view up the road he was crossing because of it. The rider was going too fast as well, I would say. No fractures? Wow!
