Hi, just wanted to post an update to a "should I buy" post I had made a couple weeks ago.
After cleaning the bike up a bit, servicing and truing the wheels, and installing some nice new tires, it's looking absolutely stunning. I do still need to do a more comprehensive overhaul, such as servicing the headset, BB, brake pads, new cables and housings and such.
Based on the serial number and parts, this appears to be a 1989 Bianchi Giro, although it's a bit funky as there is no model name on it and and it lacks the BB and seatstay caps pantographing that others have.
