Does this look right? How could I improve? Am I getting the correct pump up the tranny? I'm too chicken shit to go faster and ride the front wheel off the coping. I fear I'll nose case and go straight to my face. What am I doing right/wrong? What steps to take to get it to the point where the back wheel is popping off the coping? Is the quarter the right size? I'm so lost. 😭

Please help! My airs suck 😭

  1. I dont think at this stage its a speed problem, problem is that you’re not even touching coping. You’re doing air too early. Try to wait it out a bit and start with using coping to jump first with your front tire than back.

  2. You’re backing out too early, really commit to going up and hitting the coping with both tyres, one after the other, to get the pop, then leaning in and spinning later. I struggled with this back when I used to ride, it felt scarier on more mellow quarter pipes for some reason. From memory, Tom Dugan had a good video on how to get the technique right.

You’re not pumping enough and your rear tire needs to hit the copping. Go faster

You are shredding on a vert which is extremely read and hard, don’t sell yourself short, keep on it!!
