      What did you pay? I’m looking at a bone stock RB-1 for sale at $600. Seems high.

      Most of the parts you mention were likely sock, not upgrades.

      Gorgeous scoot. I have a Bridgestone-made Kabuki that rides faster than it’s specced. The RB-1 is a dream bike for me, too.

      Miss downtube shifters … like manual-transmissions, they put extra emphasis on awareness and coordination to amplify the experience/excitement 😎

      I had one and I loved it. The frame broke at the top tube-seatpost lug and the replacement they gave me was for red. I ended up having to sell it a few years later but I always wished I hadn’t.
