  1. Preload the crankset with the outer cap and then torque the bolts to spec. The mechanic who installed it must’ve made a mistake in one of those 2 steps.

    Just to add: it’s a Magene pes p515 power meter crankset slotted through a token t47 bb, if that makes any difference.

    I’ve put about 1,500 miles on the bike since it was built in late January and just noticed this for the first time during my ride today. I’ve raced it, but no crashes or impacts of any kind.

  3. This exact thing happened me, front derailleur wasn’t shifting, tried adjusting the cables, retensioning, adding a new barrel adjuster, etc. Then a couple of days later the crank fell off mid ride 🤦
