I spent a windy September day in Limoges years ago. It's a lovely, historical place, with a very interesting train station that's worth a visit, plus all the other sites that Tia mentioned in the video.
Thanks, Tia! Beautiful and, someday, absolutely worth a visit …! 😊
Do you think many US citizens move to France?
Not many expat groups talk about Limoges. I always wondered why. It appears to be a decent option for affordability and charm.
Hello sir, I observed your channel for a while and noticed that the videos are getting low views. Could we have a short discussion about solving this issue?
Wow this video is nostalgic, I lived in Limoges for around 20 years (1997-2017) the city is decent but it feels disconnected from the rest of France. There are a few good restaurants (bistrot gourmand is one of my favourites place Churchill and tables du bistrot in zone nord) I have since moved to Poitiers, it’s a smaller city but much more connected with way more job opportunities. You can get to Paris in 1h20 mins with the tgv and Bordeaux in the same amount of time, you can get to le Rochelle easily by train also. Overall I would recommend Poitiers but I have many fond memories of Limoges.
