I ride from Memel to Volksrust, from the Free State to Mpumalanga via KwaZulu Natal, in South Africa.
There are a lot of clouds today, and soon the clouds turn into a kind of dry thunderstorm. Now it’s just over my head ! It gets quite scary. I have to take shelter to avoid being an easy target for the lightnings.
After this unusual adventure, I resume on my way to Volksrust, but as I take a shortcut on a gravel road, I meet Eon. He is very enthusiastic about my journey, and I end up going to have coffee at his house. Another spontaneous South African hospitality, and a very pleasant conversation.

  6. I suggest you put a solar panel on your electric bike, as it will be a power source to charge your phone and the bike's battery, and the panel will also act as a canopy to protect you from the sun's heat.
