Good performance from both. Saints take the win, but against a Bath side away from home missing about 8 or 9 first-choice starters.
What a cracking rivalry this has shaped up to be! Congrats Saints, I really can't be too disappointed with losing when I got to watch that.
Very enjoyable game Bath were fantastic considering the players rested ,however I see some people are saying that it wasn't a high tackle, well it quite clearly was , maybe a draw would have been a fair result however just like the penalty given against England v France it's high, you can argue that you are unlucky you can argue that the officials didn't do you any favours however you cannot hit an opposition player in the head when tackling him especially when a penalty costs you the game, it's simple learn to tackle lower allied to the correct technique. I know Clive Woodward divides opinion however if a player did that and cost England or any team he coached the game he would make it clear that if he didn't remedy his tackling technique he would no longer be picked which is one of the reasons England became the number 1 team in the world and haven't been since.

So all an attacking player has to do is dip down into the tackle. The tackler´s arm is almost certain to touch the head or he will be done for an armless tackle.

pitiful penalty at the end. same type of tackle that happens 30-40 times in a match, doesnt seem right to award it to give saints the game. a draw was a fair result ….

First Bath try; is it worth considering; if you score whilst under an penelty advantage the conversion shoud be from infront of the posts. So there is no reward for the infringemnt?
That final penalty…does that get given earlier in the match? Does it get interpreted as a rugby incident? Is Pocock fending or leading with a forearm? And what is the defender supposed to do? Put a red carpet down and let him through because his tackle might be high? It is a fairly passive tackle and Pocock is clearly running ‘low’ (coached?). And when teams are near opponents lines and playing pick and go virtually every tackle is head contact!!
