Blew out a tire and dented a wheel on my bike, waiting for a new wheel to be delivered and couldn’t wait to go out biking. Dusted off my wife’s old bike and took it for a ride. It was so much fun! Had to go slower to avoid bottoming out the front shock, the breaks were only able to slow down the bike and not fully stop when going down hills, but overall going out on this was way better than sitting at home!

I wish I could post pics here. My wife has the same exact bike but I gave it the complete parts bin treatment. Has a RockShox 30 air fork, 1×9 drivetrain, 11-42T cassette, threadless headset, and riser bars, Alivio drivetrain, mullet brakes with Avid brake levers, it actually turned out pretty damn sweet and can actually handle some light single track.
Wait, hold up, you only have ONE bike!?
