I just bought my first bike for super cheap, but it came without a rear rack, so I bought one separately. However I think it’s not compatible with my bike.

The bike has a suspension seat post(?) and my rear rack needs to clamp to the seat post but the suspension spring is in the way.

Is there any way I can make It work other than buying a new rack?

Thanks

side note – I can’t further raise the seat cuz i’m short.

Just find a rack that’ll screw to the eyelets on the seatstays near the brakes and the eyelets by the dropouts.

You could get a non-suspension seat post for pretty cheap. If you are in the U.S., there are many on Amazon for about $20-$40
