  1. Which of these two climbs looks more terrifying to you? 😱 Have you ever tackled a road so steep you were forced to walk, or do you have a local 'wall' that rivals these Italian beasts? Let us know in the comments! 👇

  2. Trust me, go to Germany in Oberstdorf and visit the Nebelhorn. A steep climb with gradients up to 34% on Gravel. Its amazing

  3. I'm sure that they don't want anyone going UP on a bicycle because of the carnage that would result from those riders trying to ride DOWN IT! LOL!

  4. Forest police? WTAF? Give me strength. They must have about as much authority as the Traffic officers on UK roads. You should have just cracked on buddy. No time for jobs worth numpties. 🙄

  5. i'd love to have a crack at the scanuppia one day. i have an old steel road bike set up with a 22-38 chainset and an 11-46t cassette out back and i'm pretty sure it's destined to crawl up that mountain… speaking of which, you call that ultra-low gearing? jeez, guys, your pride isn't more important than your chainring size haha

  6. Question: Why in the hell would you try to talk all the way up these climbs? You could have just ridden them and then did a voice over narration in post. I'm not saying you would have made it up both climbs without walking, but you surely would have done a lot better. So tell us, how much did you pay that cop to stop you riding up it? Feather barely made it up that climb 4 years ago, so there's no way you make it up without walking.

  7. sooo.. you show the sign that clearly states you are not allowed to go up there and still do it? and with the content you basically encourage others to break the law. you should get fined…

  8. It's forbidden to ride up because, when you're coming down, you're a danger to yourself (either crashing on your own, or crushing against a local jeep/tractor being on the road) and great danger to the hikers/pedestrians that may have been on the road

  9. When I saw this video, I was confused because I knew from other videos that biking on the Scanuppia isn't allowed. Someone at GCN should have known too.
