Hi folks, not sure if this is the best place to ask as the PAS Normal Studios Balance range isn't exactly targeted at cycling but figured it can be used and someone may have picked one up.
Looking for some thoughts on the jacket in general? Looks pretty decent on paper with Pertex Shield Air so should be decently breathable, 2 way zip which is always huge in my opinion, then a strap in the back pocket to carry the jacket if you do just take it off.
Thing is there's no reviews I can find on it anywhere so no clue if it is any good. Also can't find any information on the weight? Always seemed like they promoted the weight of their jackets, so strange they don't even list it here. How easily it actually packs into the back pocket and if the strap is any good? Could you fit anything else in there when packed as a little additional storage? Then fit, guessing normal size is fine?
Thanks all so appreciate anything anyone can share.
This one for reference

I haven’t tried this since I’m not really into running but based on the photos I would not expect it to be very well suited as a replacement for a regular stow-away style rain jacket. The images indicate that it made to be stowed into itself (which I guess is pretty smart design for running), but in a pack size I would estimate to be functionality wise too large for a back pocket for most occasions but probably doable, would not recommend if you’d like to fit anything else.
In terms of general functionality I think it looks pretty good and well thought out. The Pertex membrane if reproofable too. It’s most likely pretty light too as it is intended for running where I’d guess that to be pretty significant. Any particular reason you’re interested in the specific weight? I can understand why you are surprised that it is not listed but personally I would not be too worried. Pas Normal offer free shipping and returns for most EU countries too so you could always test it out at home yourself if you’re in doubt.
