I’m hoping to do this in the next few years. How many days? Where did you stay?
I’m curious as to why you don’t use a rear rack. Is it because of the extra bulk in flying with your bike?

Ate at that same fried egg green onion truck last year. Hualien? Looks like an awesome ride
How safe or unsafe were the drivers? I rented a scooter in Vietnam and within 30 minutes I returned it because the drivers (particularly the truck drivers) were insane and drove like I didn’t exist.
