Emphasis on OK! Im broke!
Anyways i saw this for cheap on fb marketplace the other day and ive become weirdly obsessed with it. I am planning to go on multiple different few day camping trips this summer (nothing too long, probably 200km max) and just wanna make sure I am not making some kind of large mistake I am not aware of! What do you guys think? I am a complete newbie and the trips will be mostly established cycling trails. Thanks!

That bike is okay!
Suspension fork is generally just extra weight if you’re riding on fairly smooth trails, and limits your options to mount any load up front.
Most important thing with any bike is sizing. If a bike fits well and you can get comfortable, you can put up with a lot really. If the bike’s the wrong size and you’re constantly struggling with pain, your experience can be pretty miserable no matter how good the bike is.
Yeah, that’s ok for 200km trips.
I’ve seen people with those bikes do multi-year tours.
Would prefer discs
My only criticism is the grip shifters solely because I hate grip shifters.
Yes, this will tour just fine. Just make sure it fits. Read up on bike fit if you’re unfamiliar. That stem looks adjustable, so that will make for easy sizing.
Upgrades you might consider: pedals, those look like your feet would slip right off. Honestly, I have a pair of red Crank Brother’s stamp 1’s in XL. They’re yours if you want em. DM me (this offer only valid for OP). Those tires look decent, but a good set of fast rollers are one of the top upgrades you can make. And yeah, those shifters would be a solid upgrade.
But yeah, I’d tour on that. My Giant has taken me on about 1500 miles of touring.
Probably, yeah. The rack is part of the frame, so presumably it can handle as much weight as you throw at it. 3x gearing should handle hills decently.
I would however get rid of those pedals, they look horrible, will provide minimal grip. The suspension fork is also a small negative, IMO, but not a deal-breaker or anything.
Looks great! Bonus points for the rear fender. Perfect for mellow weekend trips.
